BTE ( Behind The Ear ) Hearing Aids

Hearing aids worn behind the ear can either be RIC (Receiver In the ear Canal), or BTE (all electronic components sit Behind The Ear.)

These hearing aids can either be rechargeable or battery operated. Some can connect to your smartphone for streaming and for making adjustments to the sound settings. They can also connect to accessories which enhance the listening experience in a particular environment.

Bigger hearing aids are usually less fiddly and more powerful. Smaller hearing aids are usually more discrete and provide a more natural sound. You will need a hearing test to determine which style of most suitable for you.
